Ski Academy Switzerland - Welcome
Welcome to Ski Academy Switzerland (SAS), provider of the most extensive and affordable ski instructor, race coaching and teacher training programmes on the market. Our programmes are based in the middle of the Swiss Alps where we can offer high quality instructor and personal development programmes.
We run the following programmes in Gstaad, Villars and Saas-Fee including:
- SAS Certificate of Excellence - Instructor and Internship Courses for Gap Year and Career Break from 2 to 4 weeks
- Ski Instructor Development - ISIA and ISTD training
- Race Coaching Courses - APC and USSA courses
- Alpine Ski Leader Courses for School teachers and Group Leaders
We are not a tour operator or a ski school; we are an academy for new and experienced professionals looking to step up to the next level without paying ski school prices.
All of the SAS coaches are more than just qualified BASI or PSIA instructors, but have a wealth of experience and qualified to the highest level, in two or more instructor AND coaching systems. We feel this formula brings the best bits from both the instructor and coaching worlds which is reflected in the quality of training that we deliver and results achieved!
SAS can now offer a full range of educational ski courses (recognised by the LEA's) leading to professional awards and qualifications. These educational ski courses are particularly suited to parents, school teachers, governors, ski clubs and LEA's.
We have many close links with European and USA ski schools and many of our ex-students are now enjoying a new lifestyle instructing and coaching in ski resorts all over the world!
Our courses run throughout the year from spring to winter and there are a large range of dates, the demand for SAS courses continue to grow. Therefore, it is important that you book on to courses as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
